Özet
A Pd membrane has been prepared by electroless plating on the surface of a porous TiO2 tube in this work. The mean thickness of the resulting Pd membrane on the modified tube was 13 mu m. The hydrogen permeation flux was as high as 0.16 mol m(-2) s(-1) with a pressure difference of 108.75 Pa at 648 K. H-2 permeances were 1.6 x 10(-7)-6.4 x 10(-7)/molm(-2) s(-1) Pa-1/at 580-650 K. The separation factor of H-2/N-2 was over 1,000. Measurements of the temperature coefficient for hydrogen permeation through the membrane gave a value of 9.49 kJ mol(-1) in good agreement with previous reports. The results showed that the prepared membranes can be used in membrane reactors for H-2 permeation in the dehydrogenation of methylcyclohexane.
