dc.description.abstractAdventitious shoot regeneration of 4 potato genotypes in 4 different regeneration media (RM) was studied. Petioles with leaflets obtained from node culture were used as explants and adventitious shoot formation and rooting of shoots were observed. Results showed significant genotype differences but no difference among RM for shoot production was found. Rooting of adventitious shoots was highly affected RM. Genotype Nif gave the highest means for number of shoots (4.6), number of roots (4.7) and total number of shoots (13.9).en_US
