| dc.description.abstract | Endometriozis uterus dışında aktif olarak büyüyen ve fonk siyon gösteren stromal veya glandüler endometriyal doku olarak tanımlanmaktadır. En sık gözlenen implantasyon alanları pelvik organlar ve peritondur. Endometrial implantasyon için inguinal bölge veya periosteum seyrek gözlenen bölgelerdir. Bu bölgedeki endometriozisin klinik prezentasyonu ise siklik olarak ağrılı hassas inguinal nodül dür. En iyi tedavi yöntemi ise komplet eksizyondur. Biz vakamızda, periosta invaze olduğu için girişimsel olmayan medikal tedaviyi tercih ettik. Bu vaka sunumunda, pubik kemik üzerine fikse endometrioma odağı klinik ve patolojik özellikleri ile beraber sunuldu. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Endometriosis is defined as the presence of endometrial tissue with glands and stroma actively growing and func- tioning outside the uterus. the most frequent sites of im- plantation are the pelvic viscera and the peritoneum. Ingui- nal and periosteal regions are rare sites for endometrial implantation. Clinical presentations of periosteal endometrioma are tender inguinal nodule and cyclical pain. the best choice of treatment is complete excision, but we selected non invasive treatment which is medical. Here we report an inguinal region endometrioma that invade periosteum of bone with clinical and pathological features. | en_US |
