Özet
İnsan; yaratıcı gücünü sergilediği ilk alanlardan olan çalgı yapımında, ürettiği çalgılara çağın ve toplumun koşullarına göre farklı farklı anlamlar yüklemiş, çalgıların tasarımını go?ksellikten dünyeviliğe, şeytanilikten ilahiliğe uzanan kozmogonik ve mitolojik bir simgesellikle örmüştür. Bu özellikleri ile çalgılar, sözlü kültür ürünlerimizden masallar, destanlar, türküler gibi pek çok türde konu edilmiştir. Oluşum efsaneleri de çalgıları özellikle ortaya çıkışları ile ele alan anlatmalardır. Bu makalede Türk kültüründe çalgıların ortaya çıkışı ile ilgili efsane metinleri incelenmiş; içerikleri bakımından sahip oldukları tematik ortaklıklara göre sınıflandırılarak çeşitli başlıklar altında ele alınmıştır
Human beings have attributed different meanings to the musical instruments they created according to the different conditions of the era and society in the field of instrument making which is one of the first areas enabling them to show their creative power. They have knitted the musical instrument’s design with a cosmogonic and mythological symbolicity ranging from celestial to earthly and demonic to divine. With these qualities musical instruments have been subjected to many oral cultural products like fairy tales, epic narratives and folk songs. Creation legends are also the narratives which treat the musical insturments in terms of their creation. In this article, legends about the creation of musical instruments in Turkish culture were examined and handled under different titles with a classification according to their thematical commonalities
