| dc.description.abstract | Göç ile birlikte Makedonya’dan İzmir’e taşınan müzik geleneğinin kültürel kimliğin sınırları açısından nerede durduğunu çözümlemeye çalışmanın yanı sıra, bu mirasın canlı tezahürleri olan müzik metinlerinin icra dinamiklerine göre kazandığı yeni boyutları göz önüne sermeyi amaçlayan çalışma “Giriş”, üç bölüm, “Sonuç” ve “Ekler” kısımlarından oluşmaktadır. “Giriş” kısmında Makedonya tarihi, Makedonya’da yaşayan Türkler, Makedonya’dan Türkiye’ye göçler, İzmir’de Yaşayan Makedonya göçmenlerinin sosyal yapıları ve yerleşimleri ile ilgili bilgi verilmiş ve Makedonya Türklerinin müziği üzerine bugüne kadar yapılmış olan çalışmalar değerlendirilmiştir. Tezin kuramsal çerçevesini oluşturan kültürel kimlik, aidiyet, göç, yerel, yerelötesi kavramları ve bunların müzik ile ilişkileri açıklandıktan sonra tez çalışmasının amacı ve çalışmada kullanılan yöntem ve teknikler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci Bölümde söz konusu müzik geleneğinin yaşatıldığı geçiş ritüelleri, takvime bağlı uygulamalar, eğlence mekanları, elektronik sözlü kültür gibi icra ortamları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci Bölümde söz konusu müzik geleneğinin baş aktörleri olan amatör ve profesyonel icracıların yetişme süreçleri ve kimlik özellikleri üzerinde durulmakla birlikte, söz konusu müzik geleneğinde yer alan profesyonel çalgı gruplarının tarihçesi hakkında bilgi verilmiş, bu geleneği sürdüren ve alan çalışmasına kaynaklık etmiş olan icracılar/gruplar tanıtılmış ve profesyonel icracıların pazar stratejileri değerlendirilmiştir. Üçüncü Bölümde ise alan çalışmasında derlenen 50 adet şarkı ve ilâhînin ve farklı bağlamlardan seçilen üç bando grubu ve üç orkestra icrasının analizleri gerçekleştirilmiş ve genel değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. “Sonuç” kısmında her bölümde elde edilen tespitler bir araya getirilerek İzmir’de yaşayan Makedonya göçmenlerinin müzik geleneğine ait güncel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The study aiming to explore where the music tradition carried from Macedonia to Izmir via migration is positioned regarding the limits of cultural identity and to reveal the new dimensions that musical texts which are considered the living representatives of this heritage acquire according to performance dynamics consists of “Introduction”, three chapters, “Conclusion” and “Appendix” parts. In the “Introduction”, information on the history of Macedonia, the Turks living in Macedonia, the migrations from Macedonia to Turkey, the social structure and localization of the migrants from Macedonia living in Izmir is given and the literature on the music of the Turks from Macedonia are evaluated. After _the key concepts of the thesis _cultural identity, belonging, migration, locality/translocality and their relations with music are explained information regarding the aim of the study and methods and techniques used is given. In the first chapter, information concerning the performance environments like rites of passage, calendarial practices, entertainment venues and electronic oral culture where the afore mentioned tradition is sustained is given. In the second chapter, next to focusing on the training process and the identity traits of the amateur and professional musicians who are the leading actors of this tradition, the information regarding the brief history of the instrumental ensembles within the tradition, the musicians/groups who are the main resources of the fieldwork as the performers continuing the tradition are introduced and the marketing strategies of the professional musicians are handled. In the third chapter, the analysis of the 50 songs and ilâhîs (hymns) collected during the fieldwork and three tapani (brass band) and orchestra performances chosen from different contexts are completed and general evaluations are made. In the conclusion part, an up to date evaluation of the music tradition of the migrants from Macedonia living in Izmir is put forward through the combination of all the findings given in each chapter. | en_US |
