ÖZET İZMİR KÖRFEZİ'NDE DAĞILIM GÖSTEREN GÜMÜŞ BALIĞI'NIN (Atherina boyeri Risso), 1810 BİYOLOJİSİ ÜZERİNE ARAŞTIRMALAR BOZDAĞ, Gamze Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Su ürünleri Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Doç. Dr. Belgin HOŞSUCU Eylül 1999, 44 Sayfa Bu çalışmada, izmir Körfezi'nde dağılım gösteren gümüş balığının {Atherina boyeri Risso,1810) bazı biyolojik özelliklerini saptamak amacıyla eylül 1997-eylül 1998 tarihleri arasında yakalanan 457 balık örneği incelenmiştir. Örnekler minimum 25 mm, maksimum 117 mm ve ortalama 65.5 mm total boyda, ağırlık ise minimum 0.13 gr. maksimum 11.1 gr. ve ortalama 2.24 gr. olarak bulunmuştur. Gümüş balıklan 0 ve m yaş grupları arasında dağılım göstermiştir.. Ortalama kondüsyon faktörü değerleri 0 yaş için 0.667, I yaş için 0.742, II yaş için 0.687 ve BI yaş için 0.653 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ağırlık ve boy verileri kullanılarak büyüme ifade edilmiştir. Ortalama boy artışları birinci yıl 49.5 mm, ikinci yıl 65.4 mm ve üçüncü yıl 84.9 mm'dir. Boy-ağırhk ilişkisi W=0.00001*L2'8374 olarak bulunmuştur. The length of specimens were measured and the minimum length 25 mm, maximum length 117 mm and the average length 65.5 mm was found. After weigth calculation, the minimum weigth 0.13 gr. maximum weigth 11.1 gr. and the average weigth 2.24 gr. was found. The age of the silversides were found between 0 and III years. Average condition factors were calculated as 0.667 for 0 year of age, 0.742 for I year of age, 0.687 for II years of age and 0.653 for III years of age. The growth was stated by using length of weigth data. Average length increases was found as 49.5 mm at 1st year, 65.4 mm at 2nd year and 84.9 mm at 3 rd year. Length-weight relationship was found as W=0.00001*L2-837'4. Key words: Silverside, the Bay of Izmir, biology, reproduction.
