dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research was to The Relationship Between Positive And Negative Emotional States And Motivation Of High School Students Doing Sports. The sample of the research consists of 441 students in total, 290 Male and 151 Female, studying at high schools. With the personal information form to determine demographic characteristics, the Panas scale which was developed by Watson et al. (1988) and adapted into Turkish by Gencoz (2000) and which examines emotional states with positive and negative dimensions, and The Sports Motivation Scale which was developed by Pelletier et al. (1995) and adapted into Turkish by Kazak (2004), were used. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 statistical package program. In the evaluation of the data, t-test for independent samples and One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests for differences between groups and the Tukey Post Hoc test and Pearson Correlation test were used. As a result of the research; sportsspecific success and motivation levels of students who are constantly engaged in sports; significance levels were examined according to gender, age, education, income level, place of residence, duration of doing sports, doing sports with license, frequency of doing sports, and being interested in different branches, and it was seen that there was no statistically significant difference.en_US
