dc.description.abstractIn this paper we present a Matlab-Simulink model for performance evaluation of Bluetooth DHx data packets. The simulation model developed takes into account channel quality, distance and interference in the Bluetooth frequency band. We propose a new adaptive algorithm for packet selection based on the number of retransmissions until successful packet reception under current environment conditions. The results obtained using the simulation model have proved the increase in performance provided by this algorithm.en_US
