THE RELATION BETWEEN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELLNESS AND PERCEPTION OF SUCCESS OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS DOING SPORTS

Özet
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between psychological well-being and perception of success of high school students who do sports. The sample of the study consists of a total of 420 students, 140 female and 280 male, studying at high schools. In this study, Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher, the psychological well-being scale developed by Diener et al. (2009) to measure sociopsychological well-being and whose Turkish version and, the validity and reliability study was conducted by Telef in 2013, and the perception of success inventory (Child Version BAE-C) developed by Roberts et al. (1998) and whose adaptation to Turkish was made by Kazak Cetinkalp (2006) were used. As a result, there is no relationship between individuals' ego orientations and their psychological well-being; however, it showed that there is a significant positive relationship between task orientations and psychological well-being at the level of trust.
