Özet

In this report, a case is presented about a man aged 53, ASA I, who developed hypotension at an early stage after interscalene brachial plexus blockade (ISBPB) had been applied on the occasion of right distal humerus fracture. We presented hypotension which resulted from diaphragmatic paralysis and mediastinal shift, happened after 2% articain hydrochlorure 20 ml and 0.5% bupivacaine 10 ml ISBPB. As a result of this case, we evaluated ISBPB complications. We want to emphasize that diaphragmatic paralysis and hypotension developing after ISBPB could lead to serious complications for the patients who might have coroner ischemia.
