dc.description.abstractÜnlü [4] has developed a chance-constrained programming method which is in short called CCP-W-DPC. Ünlü [6] has applied it to an optimal linear system design which satisfies some chance-constraints. Now the author is studying a new applicational problem by inspiration from his earlier works. In the problem: a detectable object O is assumed to exist in the sky. On the earth a radar, R, is located at location Q1 and a detector, D, located at another location Q2, <Q1OQ2 + <OQ1Q2 + <OQ2Q1 = 180°. The aim of this research is to find an optimal radar signal according to the amplification, by sending signals to O from Q1 and detecting them by D at Q2. © 1984.en_US
