Dermatopathic lymphadenitis (DP), which is a lymphatic dishyperplasia, is usually seen after eczematoid or erythrodermic skin lessions. It is rare in childhood. Dermatopathic lymphadenitis can be seen after Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), human herpes virus 6 and 7 (HHV-6, HHV-7) infections, human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, also may occur for any reason without inflammation of the skin. Rarely it can be observed without signs of skin. The diagnosis of dermatopathic lymphadenitis is based on histopathological investigation. It is characterized by hyperplasia and infiltration of the follicular dendritic cells and internal paracortical distance of the lymph nodes. There is no specific treatment, it can regress spontaneously. In this article, we presented a 14 months-old case who had been admitted to our clinic with rash, fever and axillary lymphadenopathy, and was diagnosed with dermatopathic lymphadenitis. © Copyright 2016 by Türkiye Klinikleri.en_US
