In this study, pterygospinous and pterygoalar bridges have been described in infratemporal fossa. Both of these bridges were localized near foramen ovale out of the cranium. Anesthesia in the form of mandibular nerve blockade for many medical reasons is applied to the semilunar ganglion or to the point where mandibular nerve leaves oval foramen. In this study pterygospinous and pterygoalar bridges have considerable clinical importance in that they may hinder mandibular nerve blockade via lateral subzygomatic, inframandibular and intraoral approaches.en_US
