dc.description.abstract | Hypertension is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in childhood. Endocrinerelated hypertension is rare in children. Hypercalcmia due to hyperparathyroidism is a rare cause of endocrine-related hypertension in childhood. We present a patient with severe headache, who was diagnosed with hypertension due to hyperparathyroidism. Hyperparathyroidism should be kept in mind in children with hypertension accompanied by hypercalcemia and hypophosphatemia. © Freund Publishing House Ltd.,. | en_US |
