dc.description.abstract | Mixing length parameter of the mixing length theory is a free parameter and used to calibrate radii of late-type stars. From the Hyades cluster and the alpha Centauri system, we find that the parameter depends on the stellar mass and some other properties of stars. Considering some other systems, we describe how the parameter depends on stellar parameters. | en_US |
