The microscopic structure of the 0(+) excitations of the Dy-156,Dy-158,Dy-160,Dy-162,Dy-164,Dy-166 isotopes has been studied using the Pairing Plus Quadrupole (PPQ) model in the framework of the Random Phase Approximation (RPA). To determine the nature and general trends of the properties of these states depending on the neutron number, their energies, the B(E2) and rho(2) (E0) transition values and two-nucleon transfer strengths have been calculated. In addition, the relative summed strengths of L = 0 transitions in the (t,p) and (p,t) reactions have been calculated and compared with experiment.en_US
