Özet
Granular cell tumors are unusual neoplasms presumably derived from Schwann cells. These tumors are mostly seen in head and neck area and 5.3%of cases are localized in the vulva. Although most of the cases are benign, macroscopically they are poorly circumscribed and show adherence to the surrounding connective tissue. Malignant transformation was also reported and recurrence is common in these patients. In this case report, a vulvar granular cell tumor is presented and discussed in a 59-yearold woman with a history of unilateral mastectomy due to breast cancer. © 2014, Gunes Kitap Kirtasiye, All rights reserved.
