She Subsequently developed pleural and pericardial effusions (which are rare in this syndrome), myopathy, and "mechanic's hand," with similar lesions on the feet. "Mechanic's foot" noted in this patient has not been previously described. She initially responded well to immunosuppression but has subsequently progressed to pulmonary fibrosis.
