It consists of four parts: rostrum, genu, body, and splenium. CC abnormalities may be isolated or accompany other fetal intracranial pathologies. Ultrasonography (US) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are very helpful in diagnosing developmental abnormalities of CC.
