No statistical (P < 0.05) difference was observed in the values of crude lipid, moisture, ash and carbohydrate but statistical differences occurred in their crude protein values. They were 0.98 +/- 0.169%; 83.98 +/- 0.16%; 3.3 +/- 0.424%; 1.14 +/- 0.02%; 9.56 +/- 0.06% for Ruditapes decussatus, respectively. They were 0.78 +/- 0.16%; 85.91 +/- 1.22%; 3.1 +/- 0.232%; 1.10 +/- 0.02%; 8.71 +/- 0.18%, for Ruditapes phillippinarum, respectively.
