Fidi, N2019-10-272019-10-2719950352-9568https://hdl.handle.net/11454/33552It was investigated in the present work whether acetic acid or n-butanol can be used as effective solvents for extractive distillation of ethyl acetate-ethyl alcohol binary azeotropic system. Vapor-liquid equilibrium data with solvents were experimentally presented. The effects of these solvents on the relative volatility were also studied. It was observed that an increase in the solvent concentration causes an increase in the relative volatility of ethyl acetate. The azeotrope disappeared when acetic acid or n-butanol mole fractions were greater than 0.20 in the ternary mixture.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAZEOTROPEEXTRACTIVE SOLVENTRELATIVE VOLATILITYEffect of Acetic-Acid and N-Butanol on the Separation of Ethyl-Acetate Ethyl-Alcohol Binary Azeotropic SystemOther93151154WOS:A1995RY10500006N/A
