Fractionation and isolation procedures were performed on MeOH extract of the plant by using several chromatographical methods (OCC, TLC). As a result, 2 flavone compounds (apigenin and luteolin) and two flavone glcuronopyranoside (skutellarin and 6-hydroxykaempferol-7-O-ß- D-glucuronopyranoside) were isolated. Structure elucidation of the pure compounds were carried out by using spectroscopic methods ( 1H and 13C NMR). Furthermore a phytosterol (ß-sitosterol-3-O-ß-D- glucopyranoside), a phenylpropanoid glycoside (syringin) and a phenolic acid (chlorogenic acid) were identified by using several TLC techniques and standart compounds.
