Althoughdouble teeth are relatively common with a reported prevalence rangingfrom 0.1% to 1.55%; the union of three teeth, named as triple teeth ortriplication, is rarely encountered in the primary dentition with a preva lence of 0.02%. Prevalence of triple teeth is well documented in pri mary dentition, but its occurrence in permanent dentition is a rarephenomenon.
