Çalışmamız; "açık ve kapalı halı saha demir aksamı yapımı, tel ve branda, suni çim halı döşenmesi ve elektrik aksamlarının yapımı ve montajı" yapan bir firmanın metal işleme atölyesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Üretim safhaları izlenmiş, buradaki kaldırma ve taşıma işlemleri kayıt altına alınmış, risk değerlendirmeleri MAC (Manual Handling Assessment Charts) ve KIM (Key Indicator Method) yöntemleriyle hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca genel olarak tüm faaliyetler ergonomik değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmuştur. Yapılan çalışmalar neticesinde, çalışmaya konu atölyede çokça kaldırma ve taşıma işi yapıldığı, bu işler gerçekleştirilirken ergonomik prensiplere uygun davranış ve çalışma modellerine uyulmadığı görülmüştür. Bunun yanında genel olarak atölye ortamının ergonomik bakımdan uygunluk düzeyinin yetersiz olduğu, iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ilkelerine yeterli öncelik verilmediği tespit edilmiştir.In this research, lifting and transporting work in a small scale metalworking workshop has been evaluated from ergonomic point of view. Our study; "the open and closed carpet field was carried out in a metalworking workshop of a company which was engaged in the construction of iron parts, the construction and assembly of wire and tarpaulins, artificial grass carpet laying and electrical parts ". Production stages were monitored, lifting and transport operations were recorded, risk assessments were calculated by using the Manual Handling Assessment Charts (MAC) and Key Indicator Method (KIM) methods. In addition, all activities were subject to ergonomic evaluation in general. As a result of the work done, many workshops were carried out in the workshop and it was observed that the behavior and working models in accordance with the ergonomic principle were not observed when these works were carried out.
