Özet
65 yaşında total prolapsus uteri saptanan olgu üriner inkontinans yakınmasıyla başvurdu. Fizik muayenede minimal stressde üriner inkontinans olduğu ve işeme sonrası rezidual idrarın 200 cc olduğu saptandı. Detrusor kas aktivitesi yokluğu ve periferal iletim zamanlarının uzamasıyla karakterize anormal elektromyografı bulguları gözlendi. Üriner inkontinans yakınmalarının çizgili kas eksternal urethral sfinkterini innerve eden alt motor nöronlardaki bozukluğa bağlı olarak oluşan üretral sfinkter yetmezliğiyle ilişkili olduğu saptandı.
65-year-old patient was admitted with the diagnosis of urinary incontinence and total prolapsus uteri. Physical examination revealed urinary incontinence with minimal stress and residual urine volume of 200 cc.Electromyographic examination showed the absence of detrusor muscle activity and prolongation of peripheral nerve transmission. the symptoms of urinary incontinence were associated with the urethral sphincter dysfunction due tolower motor neuron transmission failure.
