Özet
Bu çalışmada, çevresel, sağlık ve ekonomik açıdan önemli yer tutan sıvı yakıtların desülfürizasyonu işlemi geleneksel yöntemlerin dezavantajlarını kaldırarak daha verimli bir şekilde gerçekleştirilmesi amacıyla ötektik çözgenler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ekstraktif ve Oksidatif desülfürizasyon işlemleri ötektik çözgenler kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında farklı hidrojen bağı alıcısı ve hidrojen bağı vericisinden oluşan ötektik çözeltiler hazırlanmıştır. Tezin ilk bölümünde, sıvı yakıtların ötektik çözgenler ile ekstraktive desülfürizayonu ve buna bağlı parametrik çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla benzil trimetil amonyum klorür ve asetik asitten oluşan ötektik çözgen hazırlanmış, karakterize edilmiş ve ekstraktive desülfürizasyon işleminde kullanılmıştır. Tezin ikinci bölümünde ise benzil trietil amonyum klorür ve asetik asitten oluşan ötektik çözgenler sentezlenmiş, karakterize edilmiş ve oksidatif desülfürizasyon işleminde kullanılmıştır.
In this study, the desulfurization process of liquid fuels, which has an important place in terms of environmental, health and economics, was carried out using deep eutectic solvents to remove disadvantages of traditional methods and perform it more efficiently. Extractive and Oxidative desulfurization processes were carried out using deep eutectic solvents. As a part of this thesis, deep eutectic solvents consisting of different hydrogen bond acceptor and hydrogen bond donor were prepared. In the first part of the thesis, extractive desulfurization of liquid fuels with deep eutectic solvents and related parametric studies were carried out. For this purpose, deep eutectic solvent consisting of benzyl trimethyl ammonium chloride and acetic acid was prepared, characterized and used in the extractive desulfurization process. In the second part of the thesis, deep eutectic solvents consisting of benzyl triethyl ammonium chloride and acetic acid were synthesized, characterized and used in the oxidative desulfurization process. In this study, up to 100 % of suşphur removal was achieved.
