Özet
Myocardial perfusion imaging agents such as Tl-201 chloride and Tc-99m MIBI have been used successfully in imaging of the thyroid malignancy and its metastases. We present a patient with metastatic papillary thyroid carcinoma, which was successfully imaged with Tc-99m tetrofosmin. The Tc-99m tetrofosmin image clearly delineated the extent of tumor as demonstrated on I-131 imaging. Tc-99m tetrofosmin scintigraphy may be useful as a complementary technique in the detection of metastases in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma.
