Synthesis and Complex Formation of BIS (2,2’-Pioolinoylaminoethyl)Sulphide

The new ligand bis(2-picolinoylaminoethyl)sulphide has been synthesized. The chelating ability of this ligand with Cu(II), Ni(II), Cd(II) and Co(II) metal ions has been investigated and compared with the ligand, thiodiacetic acid bis(2-pyridylmethyl-cmide), previously reported.
