Özet
Bezier eğrileri Fransız mühendis BEZİER tarafından Renault otomobillerinin gövdelerinin tasarımında kullanılmak üzere oluşturulmuştur. Bu metod, bir tasarımcı gibi, çeşitli eğri şekillerinden arzu edilen eğri şeklini elde etmeye yarar.Bir BEZİER eğrisi bir poligonun köşelerinin birleştirilmesi ile tek olarak belirlenir. Noktaların adedi türetilen eğrinin sayısını ve şeklini belirler.BEZİER yüzeyleri de BEZİER eğrileri ile aynı özelliklere sahiptir ve interaktif tasarım uygulamaları için uygun bir metod sağlamaktadır.
Bezier curves were establis hed by French engineer. Bezier in order to use them in designing of bodies of Renault cars. This method as a designer does, is used for obtaining a required eurve from various curve form. A Bezier curve is determined by connection of the corners of a polygon. The number of points determines the number and shape of the derived curve. Bezier surfaces have the same properties with Bezier curves and provide a suitable method for appilication of interactive design.
