Özet
Türk Memlûklar tarafından 1250 yılında Mısır coğrafyasında kurulmuş olan Memlûk Devleti, Türk kültürünün bu bölgede yaygınlaşmasına büyük katkılar sağlamışta. Özellikle Memlûk Devleti'nin ordusunu oluşturan Türk kökenli memluk askerleri ile bu askerler arasından çıkan ve devleti idare eden hükümdarlar anayurtlarından getirdikleri Türk kültürünü yerleştikleri bu bölgede yaşatmışlardır. Bu kültürü, başta ordu ve askeri sistemleri olmak üzere devletin çeşitli kurumlarında ve sosyal yaşamlarında görmek mümkündür. Türk kültür öğelerini kutlamalar sebebiyle düzenlenen eğlencelerde de gözleyebiliriz.
The State of Mamluk, established by the Turks in Egypt in 1250, contributed to the proliferation of the Turkish culture in this particular part of the world. It was especially the Mamluk soldiers of Turkish origin who partly constituted the Mamluk army, and the Turkish Rulers, who emerged from the Mamluk army, perpetuated the Turkish culture in this region where they had newly settled. It is possible to see their cultural aspects principally in the army and the military organization, and in various institutions of the state and their social life. We can also view such Turkish cultural aspects in various entertainments organized to celebrate some occasions.
