Liver transplantation for childhood hepatic malignancy [Çocukluk çagi primer karaciger tümörlerinde karaciger nakli]

The efficiency and success of liver transplantation has been proven in pediatric life-threatening acute and chronic liver diseases. Liver has transplantation superceded surgical therapies especially in high stage primary liver tumors of childhood, which have high mortality and morbidity. In this review, we discuss the indications of liver transplantation for primary childhood liver tumors, and summarize the experience of the world and our organ transplantation center regarding liver transplantation in childhood primary liver tumors.
