Özet
This study was conducted in Bornova experimental fields of Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Ege University during 2015 and 2016 in order to determine the effect of harvest times on yield and some quality components of annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) cultivars. The trial was conducted in randomized complete block design with three replications. Fresh herbage yield, dry matter content, crude protein content, crude ash content, crude cellulose content, metabolic energy and the contents of NDF and ADF were determined. Results indicated that the all characteristics were affected from cultivars and harvest times and that Rambo or Vespolini cultivars may be preferred. Harvest at heading stage gave more quality feed.
