Özet
Osteonekroz, aseptik veya avasküler kemik nekrozu ile eş anlamlıdır ve bu terimler kemiğin infarktını tanımlar. Kemik infarktları asemptomatik olabildiği gibi kendini sınırlayan ağrı kliniği ile de karşımıza çıkabilir. Eğer bu infarkt subartiküler kemikte ve özellikle femur başında olursa, morbiditesi daha fazla olmaktadır. Bu yazıda, aseptik kemik nekrozu ve buna eşlik eden bilateral femur boyun kırığı saptanan bir olgu sunulmaktadır.
Osteonecrosis is synonymous with aseptic or avascular necrosis of the bone and these terms describe infarction of the bone. Bone infarcts may be asymptomatic or associated with self limited pain. But this syndrome may have greater morbidity if occurs with necrosis of subarticular bone, especially in femoral head. In this article, we mentioned a case having avascular bone necrosis associated with bilateral femoral neck fractures
