Özet
Bodrum Sualtı Arkeoloji Müzesi'nde envanteri olmayan 60 kadar İslami taş kitabe saklanıyor. Bunların Müze'ye nereden getirildiği bilinmiyor. Milas'tan getirilmiş bir çeşme kitabesi hariç, diğerleri Bodrum ve civarından getirilmiş olmalıdır. Bunlar içinde 54 tanesi Müslümanlara ait mezar taşı, l'i Bodrum kalesine ait çeşme kitabesi, 4'ü Bodrum kalesinin burç kitabesi, 1 'i de Bodrum'daki Müslüman mektebinin kitabesidir. Ayrıca yazısı olmayan özellikle Müslüman kadınlara ait birkaç mezar taşı daha Müze'de saklanmaktadır.
The Underwater Archaeological Museum of Bodrum of Turkey had stored about sixty pieces of Islamic inscriptions, written in Arabic letters, from Ottoman times. They are mainly belonged to Bodrum and surrounding. These inscriptions are unknown to bring from anywhere and whenever to the museum. Any inventory for them was not prepared by the museum administration. While fifty four of them are the gravestone inscriptions on the Muslim* one of them is belonged to the fountain of water for the fortress of BodrumWhile four of them were the Islamic inscriptions on the towers of the fortress of Bodrum, one was the inscription on the Muslim school in Bodrum. Besides it is lowered a few unrecorded gravestones on the Muslim women into the museum. All of them give supplement information on the history of Ottoman Bodrum.
