[Bis(diphenylphosphino)methane-?2P,P'] -[bis(diphenylthiophosphinyl)methane-?2S,S']-platinum(II) bis(perchlorate) acetone solvate

The title complex, [Pt(C25H22P2)(C 25H22P2S2)](ClO4) 2·C3H6O or [Pt(dppm)(dppmS 2)](ClO4)2·C3H6O, where dppmS2 is bis(diphenylthiophosphinyl)methane and dppm is bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, is the first example of a platinum(II) complex containing both dppm and dppmS2 ligands. In the cation, the dppm ligand forms a non-planar four-membered chelate ring, while the dppmS 2 ligand forms a six-membered chelate ring with twist-boat conformation. © 2005 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
