Özet
Nedensellik, felsefe ilk ortaya çıktığından beri, neredeyse her filozofu belli bir dereceye kadar ilgilendiren önemli bir kavram olagelmiştir. Sokrates öncesi filozoflardan günümüze dek konuyla ilgili ortaya konulmuş sonuçlardan her biri, kendi iç sistemlerine uygunluğu sağlayabildikleri ölçüde, kavramın tarihsel gelişimine önemli katkılar sağlamışlardır. Burada sunduğumuz çalışma da, David Hume tarafından kökten bir eleştiriye tabi tutulan nedensellik kavramına, Aristoteles’in kategoriler öğretisi ve Gilbert Ryle’ın kategori hatası üzerinden ontolojik statüsünü yeniden kazandırma yönünde bir öneri niteliğindedir. Bunun için de nedenselliğin hangi durumlarda bir kategori hatası olarak değerlendirilebileceği ve nerede aranması gerektiği gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Since the philosophy first appeared the causality has been an important concept which has interested almost every philosopher to a certain extent. Each solution which has been asserted from the Presocratics until today has contributed to the historical development of the concept insofar as it has complied with its own internal system. the study we are offering here is also advisory to confer status upon the causality, which had been criticized radically by David Hume, through Aristotle’s theory of categories and the category mistakes of Gilbert Ryle. By this means it is tried to reveal how the causality can be evaluated as a category mistake and where it can be founded.
