Özet
Yoğun bakım (YB)?da izlenen olgulara, beslenme desteği gereklidir. Uygun beslenme; katabolizmayı azaltmayı, protein-enerji gereksiniminin karşılanmasını, sıvı-elektrolid dengesinin kurulmasını ve sürdürülmesini hedeflemektedir. Beslenmeye zamanında başlanması, malnütrisyondan koruyucu olabilir. Zira, malnütrisyonu bulunan olgularda, morbidite ve mortalite artmıştır. Bu derlemede; YB?de beslenmenin endikasyonları, kontrendikasyonları ve beslenme yolları özetlenmiştir. Ayrıca, immun beslenme ve kan şekeri kontrolü de gözden geçirilmiştir.
Nutritional support is required in patients attended to the intensive care unit (ICU). the aims of the appropriate nutrition are to decrease the catabolism, achieve protein-energy need, constitute and prolong the fluid-electrolyte balance. Beginning the nutrition on time can be protective for malnutrition. As a matter of fact, the morbidity and mortality are increased in patients with malnutrition. in the present review, the indications, contraindications and routes of nutrition in ICU are summarized. Besides, immunonutrition and control of blood glucose are examined.
