An evaluation on actualizing traditional culture [Geleneksel kültürü güncellemek üzeri·ne i·r degerlendi·rme]

In this article, it is argued that the traditional culture is less favored by the contemporary society, more specifically by the young generations as a result of the definition of the term "tradition" falsely defined. Departing from this argument, the terms "tradition", "change", "evolution", "degeneration" and "actualization" are evaluated. It is suggested that tradition certainly allows changing and the change carries the idea of actualization. In sum, it is important to know what aspects of folklore or in general folk culture allows to be actualized and how could it be done.
