Yaya erişiminde süreklilik sorunu ve çözüm olanaklarının bornova kent merkezi örneğinde araştırılması

Özet
Kentlerde yaya kaldırımlarının konforlu ve güvenli bir yaya erişimi için anahtar konumda olmaları nedeniyle, Bornova Kent Merkezindeki yaya kaldırımlarında yaya erişimini olumsuz etkileyen faktörler çalışma kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Yaya erişimini olumsuz etkileyen faktörler canlı ve cansız donatı elemanları ile değişken faktörler olmak üzere 3 ana grupta toplanmış ve kent merkezini temsilen seçilen 8 cadde-sokakta özgün bir yöntem vasıtasıyla sorgulanmıştır. Bu çerçevede olumsuzluk faktörlerinin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda elde edilen bulgular temelinde, Bornova Kent Merkezinde yaya kaldırımlarının geliştirilmesi yönünde öneriler ortaya konulmuştur.
This study was undertaken to identify and mitigate the challenges on sidewalks in the downtown of City of Bornova. The challenges on sidewalks classified into 3 main groups such as living and non-living urban furniture and mobile factors on the bases of 8 selected streets in the downtown are examined through a unique methodology. In this framework, while average negative scores in terms of living urban furniture on sidewalks is 51 % (Not Suitable), average scores for non-living urban furniture and mobile factors are respectively 29 % (Moderate Suitable) and 19 % (Suitable).
