Özet
Bu araştırmada Trabzon iline kayıtlı gırgır teknelerinin özellikleri, donammları ve teknedeki gırgır ağlarının bazı teknik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Trabzon da faaliyet gösteren 71 adet gırgır teknesinin adedi ahşap, 63 adedi saç materyalden yapılmış olup; tam boyları 12,5-49,9 arasmda, motor güçleri ise 135-4300 I-IP arasında değişmektedir. Çoğunluğu hamsi olmak üzere, orkinos ve çok amaçlı gırgır ağları kullanan bu teknelerin sonar, echo-sounder, radar, VHF telsiz, manyetik pusula, harita cihazı (GPS), buz makinesi, soğuk muhafaza odası, jeneratör, balık pompası gibi teknik araçlarla son derece iyi donatıldıkları belirlenmiştir. Kullanılan gırgır ağları şekil olarak benzer olmalarına rağmen bu ağlar arasında bazı farklılıklar bulunmaktadır. İncelenen ağların göz açıklıkları, hamsi gırgırı, çok amaçlı gırgır ve orkinos gırgırı için sırasıyla; 3- 14 mm, 24-40 mmve 40- 140 mm olarak tespit edilmiştir.
Correspondingly, the specific types of fishing nets in seafood fishing should be designed to intend for fishing. in this study, the characteristics of the purse seiners, their equipment and purse seines were investigated. the of the all 71 vessels registered, made ofwood, the 63 ofthem, made of sheet iron and their lengths changing between 12.5-49,9 and their machine powers changing between 135-4300 hp. the majority ofthe vessels used anchovy net, bluefın tuna net and all-purpose nets. Vessels are well-equipped with the technical devices such as sonar, echo-sounder, radar, VHF wireless, magnetic compass, mapping set, ice-machine, cold-keeping room, generator and fishing pomp. Although the purse seiners are similar to each other in shapes, there are, however, some differences among them. Mess sizes of the nets employed in the study have been determined as 13- 14 mm for the anchovy nets 24-40 mın for the all-purposed nets and 40- 140 mm for the bluefin tuna nets, respectively.
