Özet
Bu çalışmada, İzmir ili bal arısı (Apis melifera L.) populasyonlarında genetik varyasyonu belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. İzmir ilinin Menemen, Buca, Kemalpaşa ve Bornova ilçelerinden toplanan 147 ergin işçi arı örneği üç enzim sistemi (Esterase, Malic enzim, Malate dehydrogenase) bakımından elektroforetik olarak incelenmiştir. İzmir ili bal arısı populasyonlarında üç enzim sistemi bakımından bir varyasyon gözlenmemiştir. Tüm populasyonlar tekli bant modeliyle monomorfik bulunmuştur. Mdh enziminin elektroforetik analizi sonucunda, İzmir ilinden toplanan ve Anadolu arısı (Apis mellifera anatoliaca)'nın çeşitli formları olarak tanımlanan bütün arı örnekleri Mdh100 alleli bakımından monomorfik bulunurken Ege Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüsü'nden sağlanan İtalyan arısı (Apis mellifera ligustica)'ndan oluşan bir koloniye ait örnekler Mdh65 alleli bakımından monomorfik bulunmuştur.
the aim of this study was to determine the genetic variation in honeybee populations from Izmir province. A total of 147 adult worker bees were collected from Menemen, Buca, Kemalpaşa and Bornova towns of Izmir and were electrophoretically examined for three enzyme (Esterase, Malic enzyme, Malate dehydrogenase) systems. There was no variation for three enzyme systems at honeybee populations of Izmir province. All the examined populations appeared monomorphic with one-banded model for these enzyme systems. As a result of electrophoretic analysis for Mdh enzyme, Mdh100 allele was found as monomorphic in all samples, which was identificated as various forms of Anatolian honeybee (Apis mellifera anatoliaca). However samples of one colony originated from Italian bee (Apis mellifera ligustica), which were taken from Aegean Agricultural Research Institute, were found monomorphic from the point of view Mdh65 allele.
