Hematolojik malignitelerde yaygın prognostik faktör olarak kullanılan kromozomal değişikliklerin gösterilmesi

Hematolojik malignitelerin tanı, takip ve tedavisinde genetik değişiklikler büyük önem taşımaktadır. Konvensiyonel sitogenetik yöntemlerle yapılan incelemelerde kromozomal anomalilerin tespitinde sitogenetiğin öneminin ortaya konmasıyla bu yöntem vazgeçilmez hale gelmiştir. Çok sayıda hücrenin, daha kısa sürede ve oldukça hassas bir şekilde incelenebilmesi için otomatize ve daha verimli görüntü analiz sistemleri geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada bu sistem ve bu sisteme ait monitörler kullanılarak 150 akut lösemi tanısı konan yetişkin hastada görülen kromozomal anomaliler araştırılmıştır.

Genetic changes in hematological malignancies have a great importance for diagnosis, monitoring and treatment. Conventional cytogenetic methods for the examination of chromosomal abnormalities detected by demonstrating the importance of this method has become indispensable. By this method cells could be very precisely analyzed in a shorter time. This caused more efficient analysis procedure. Bone marrow samples of one hundred and fifty adult patients diagnosed with hematological malignancies were investigated for chromosomal abnormalities by using this system in this study.
