Spontaneous uterine rupture in a primigravid term pregnancy caused by placenta percreta: A case report

Herhangi bir geçirilmiş travma veya enfeksiyon öyküsü olmadan primigravid uterusun plasenta perkrata nedeniyle spontan rüptüre olması oldukça nadir görülen bir durumdur. Bu çalışmada, 29 yaşında miadında primigravid gebeliği olan ve elektif sezaryan ile sağlıklı bir bebek doğurtulan ve operasyon esnasında plasenta perkrata nedeniyle uterusta rüptür saptanan bir olgu sunulmuştur. Bizim bilgilerimize göre bu olgu literatürde bildirilen üçüncü ve canlı doğum ile miadında sonlanan ilk olgudur.
Spontaneous rupture of the primigravid uterus due to placenta percreta without a history of trauma or infection is a very rare occurrence. We report a case of uterine rupture secondary to placenta percreta diagnosed in a 29-year-old term primigravida during an elective abdominal delivery of a healthy fetus. To the best of our knowledge, this case represents the third reported in the medical literature and the first term pregnancy to result in a live-born infant.
