Özet
Bu araştırmada İzmir’in Seferihisar İlçesinde mandarin üretiminin ekonomik yapısı ortaya konulmuş, üretim ve pazarlamada karşılaşılan sorunlar saptanmıştır. Seferihisar’ın merkezinde yapılan araştırmada basit tesadüfi örnekleme ile belirlenen 63 üreticiden anket yöntemiyle 2001 ve 2002 üretim dönemine ait elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. İncelenen işletmelerde ortalama mandarin arazisi 8.32 dekardır. Mandarin üretiminde dekara verim 4605.46 kg, ağaç başına verim ise 92.67 kg olarak saptanmıştır. Üretici eline geçen ortalama mandarin fiyatı 0.200 YTL/kg’dır. Mandarinin üretim dönemi dekara ortalama maliyeti 925.241 YTL’dir. Mandarinden dekara elde edilen net gelir 315.79 YTL, ağaç başına düşen net gelir ise 6 36 YTL olarak saptanmıştır.
This research determines the economical features of tangerine production in Seferihisar, İzmir. This research was conducted in the center of Seferihisar, with 63 producers which were selected by random sampling method in the period of 2001- 2002. According the results of the research; the average size of tangerine orchards was 8.32 decares. The average yield was 4 605.46 kg/decare and the average yield for per tree was 92.67 kg. The average production cost of tangerines was found to be 925.24 YTL/decare. Net income of per decare and per tree of tangerines were found to be 315.79 YTL and 6.36 YTL, respectively.
