Aim: In our study, we aimed to determine the attitudes and self-efficacy of personnel working in pre-hospital emergency health services in CBRN threat and hazard events. Materials and Methods: Our study was planned as a descriptive research between November 2022 and May 2023. The sample of the study consisted of emergency medical technicians, paramedics, doctors and other health personnel working in pre-hospital emergency health services who are members of the Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and Technicians (N=402). The data were collected using the Socio-demographic data form, CBRN Self-Efficacy Scale and CBRN Attitude Scale. The results were evaluated at 95% confidence interval and significance at p<0.05 level. Results: A statistically significant difference was found between the participants' age groups, titles, CBRN training status, CBRN case intervention status and their mean scores from the CBRN attitude scale. It was determined that the CBRN attitude levels of the participants who were between the ages of 26-35 and 36-45, had the title of ATT and paramedic, received CBRN training, and intervened in a CBRN case were higher. A statistically significant difference was found between the participants' gender, CBRN training status, CBRN case intervention status and their mean scores from the CBRN self-efficacy scale. It was determined that the CBRN self-efficacy levels of the participants who were male, received CBRN training, and intervened in a CBRN case were higher. Conclusion: CBRN incidents are an important health problem. The experience and self-efficacy of prehospital emergency health care workers in CBRN cases affect their attitudes. The attitudes of health personnel in intervention to these cases are important for their own health and the health of the victim. In order to create a positive attitude towards CBRN, it is thought that their knowledge and self-efficacy should be increased through school and post-graduate trainings and drills. Keywords; Emergency health workers, CBRN, Attitude, Self-efficacy, Pre-hospital.
