Özet

In this research, some biochemical changes in royal jelly that harvesting after 24, 48 and 72 hours had been purposed and effects of change on basic sugars (fructose, glucose and sucrose), 10-HDA, humidity and some trace element in quality of royal jelly had been discussed. In the research, 24 colonies were selected randomly had equalized (7 frames pupae, 13-14 frames bees, 2 frames pollen and honey) and 3 groups were designed as contained 8 hives in each of them. After larvae transferring, royal jelly harvested from the 1st group after 24h, from 2nd group after 48h and from 3rd group after 72 h. Differences of groups for fructose, glucose, sucrose, 10-HDA and humidity levels in harvested royal jelly were found important (P<0.05), statistically. Sugar compositions, 10-HDA and humidity levels of royal jelly harvested after 72 h of larvae transferring were found higher than that of 24 h of the treatment. Differences of groups for K, Na and Cu trace elements in royal jelly were found important (P<0.05), statistically. The highest values for trace elements of K, Cu and Fe were determined in royal jelly harvested in 48h after larvae transferring. Results obtained from the treatment proved that biochemical compositions and some trace elements contents of royal jelly had been changed by harvesting time. On based of these changes, intensive standardization studies should be made with expression of "harvesting time" in royal jelly for improving international standards of it for marketing of rising world bee product.
