Therapy of tuberculosis in childhood [Çocukluk çagi{dotless}nda tüberküloz tedavisi]

Tuberculosis is still an important health problem in pediatric population in our country. The goal of appropriate treatment of tuberculosis is to cure the disease and improve quality of life of patients; to prevent deaths from active disease or late effects of tuberculosis and to prevent relapses, contamination of healthy people and also prevent drug resistance during treatment period. In this paper we aimed to define treatment indications in infection and to discuss current treatment options in tuberculosis.
