Özet
Araştırmada yaygın olarak kullanılan ayakkabı boyalarının, dana yüzlük derilerin dinamik su geçirgenliği ve statik su emme özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Bu özelliklere boyama işleminin etkisi, yüzlük deri örnekleri ayakkabı boyalarıyla boyanmadan önce ve boyanmasından sonra yapılan testlerle saptanmıştır. Bulgular ve istatistiksel değerlendirmelere bağlı olarak; ayakkabı boyalarının deri yüzeyine geçici su iticilik kazandırarak dinamik su geçirgenliği süresini uzattığı ve boyaların nüfuziyetini arttıran kimyasal maddelerin etkisiyle deri kesitinde statik su emme özelliğini yükselttiği istatistiksel olarak ortaya konmuştur (p<0.05).
In this research, the effects of shoe creams, which are applied on shoe uppers during the utilization period, on the dynamic water resistance (penetrometer) and static water absorption characteristics of calf upper leathers have been examined. The effects of polishing on the qualities above have been determined through the tests carried out on upper leathers both before and after polishing. According to the obtained results and statistical evaluations, it has been statistically proved that shoe creams increased the dynamic water resistance period by producing temporary water repellency on the leather surface, and caused them to get the higher static water absorption characteristics in the cross-section of leather by the effect of the chemical substances, which increase the penetration of the shoe cream (p<0.05).
