Cerebral mycosis and a true mycotic aneurysm of the basilar artery

A woman of 43 years with multiple symptoms and a variable clinical picture is presented. She was a challenge during the period of investigation and treatment, and the etiology could be ascertained in autopsy discovering a mycotic agent which is extremely rare.
