Özet
Sigacik is evaluated as the research area in this study and the quality of urban environment was analysed in term of spatial relation. the study area was analysed with the help of an expert group of 10 people from Ege University and it was determined at what level the existing structure of the settlement met users expectations. Within the scope of the spatial analysis, the study area was considered according to the effects of built environment, green structures, urban furniture and the positive/negative impact factors on outdoor life and were scored from 1 to 5 and average scores were calculated. Afterwards, the study area was evaluated from the aspects of 'Perceptual', 'Sensory' and 'Vital' features and the 7-point Likert scale was used. Sigacik was found to be extremely peaceful and relaxing, quite unique and historical, impressive and attractive. It was noticed that user in general spend their daily life in outdoor and use the open spaces densely. Proposals were made protecting the traditional pattern of the Sigacik and improving the urban quality and maintaining the sustainability of the outdoor life.
